Inexpensive, Recycled Printer Ink!

Save up to 75% on Ink & Toner at EnviroInks.com -
Your One-Stop-Shop!

Woman in Chocolate SwirlsOne thing I absolutely love is finding eco-friendly solutions that actually cost LESS than traditional options. So I figured I’d share this find with you since most of us have home printers and go “Ugh!” every time we have to purchase ink for them.

I did a comparison for my own printer (an HP All-in-One that has 5 – yes 5! – different color ink cartridges plus the black. Sure it prints out great photos but sheesh…)

Normally I pay almost $100.00 for a full replacement. Each of the 5 color ink cartridges are $14.99 and the main black is $19.99. Eeewww.

When I skipped over to EnviroInks.com I could get the same inks (recycled!) for $29.82! Huge savings!

Plus if I return the used cartridges I can get reward points for future orders. Love it.

Hope this saves you some money on your next ink purchase too. :)

Goodbye Whole Foods Market…

Beautiful Woman Eating Strawberry SeductivelyFor the longest time I’ve been an advocate of Whole Foods Market – not only shopping there personally, but expounding the benefits of eating non-Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) to anyone who would listen. I thought Whole Foods was fundamentally against GMOs and didn’t allow them in their stores. Period.

I was wrong.

Apparently Whole Foods uses GMOs in their “natural” product lines just like every other food retailer scamming Americans into believing “natural” food is somehow better than average. For example, I knew if I purchased a “natural” product at say, Stop & Shop, there would be GMO ingredients. However I didn’t know that if I purchased “natural” products at Whole Foods they would also include GMO ingredients.

To be honest I was under the impression that Whole Foods allowed pesticide use in the growing of their “natural” products, but NOT GMOs. (Hence the only difference between their “certified organic” and “natural” products since organic production does not allow pesticide use either.)

This new knowledge coupled with Whole Foods’ complete cave in to Monsanto’s GMO food domination last week has completely changed my perspective on this company.

I’ve removed my link to them from this website and am in the process of finding local farmers to buy groceries from.

Last week was one of the most disheartening for the organic community and has strengthened my resolve to find healthier, more environmentally sustainable choices for my family.
